Hi, it’s me.. your partner in wellness

Thanks for visiting, here’s a bit about me.

I’m Chad Vigil, DMSc, PA-C. I’m a board-certified physician assistant (PA) and integrative psychiatric provider. I believe in meeting each person where they are, and that includes being open-minded about treatment options that go beyond conventional medicine. While I’m trained in evidence-based psychiatric care, I also recognize the value and healing potential of alternative approaches — including plant medicine. I understand that for some, these modalities can be deeply meaningful and effective. My goal is to create a non-judgmental space where we can explore a personalized path to healing that respects both science and spirit. I believe true healing begins when we stop trying to simply manage symptoms and, instead, start listening to what the mind and body are trying to say.

I do my best to stay educated and informed on the latest treatment options and modalities related to psychiatry, including unconventional treatment options. I have experience treating patients with cannabis, ketamine, psilocybin, suboxone, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). I have past experience in drug research and years of experience in pain management and palliative medicine.

As a young boy, I cared for my hispanic grandmother, who had multiple sclerosis, couldn’t walk, and moved in with my family when I was 4 years-old. She was a palliative and hospice patient until passing away when I was 18. Throughout my childhood, I witnessed my parents’ sacrifices to care for her and the countless medical professionals and caregivers that rotated through her care. Since then, I have lost family members due to mental illness and substance use. These personal experiences are what motivate me to make a difference in peoples’ lives who are struggling with physical and mental illness. I can meet you at your level with a humble, nonjudgemental, and calm demeanor.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and 4 children. During our free time, you can find us in the outdoors or playing music. My wife and I homeschool our children and I have spent time coaching youth basketball and baseball. I am a former touring drummer for the indie rock band, Kid Theodore and Toy Bombs, which can be found on several music platforms. I continue to play and teach drums and guitar to my children. I am the owner of a nonprofit organization called Believe in Mommy, which raises funds for unfortunate young, single mothers or mothers-to-be in Kenya.

That’s a little about me, I look forward to getting to know you!
